Exhibiting

The annual METS (Marine Equipment Trade Show) show in Amsterdam is quite simply the world’s best showcase event for marine equipment manufacturers and suppliers.  90% of the 1,200 exhibitors in 2009 were very satisfied/satisfied with the show and 96% were going to re-exhibit in 2010 (we are still awaiting 2010 results) – this is very strong positive feedback from exhibitors.

The visitors to the show come for four main reasons:

  1. Obtain a general overview 69%
  2. Research new technologies/products/services 68%
  3. Making new contacts 66%
  4. Maintaining contacts with existing clients/contacts 63%
  5. 97% of 2009 13,000 visitors were very satisfied/satisfied with the show and 94% were going to visit in 2010

The visitors to the show, all trade, are a mix of purchasing teams from the world’s major boatbuilders (volume yards to Superyacht yards) and distributors and agents from around the word looking for new products and services.  If you want to meet purchasing managers and hungry distributors – come to METS 2011.  If you are new the show please call us to discuss the event – we can advise you on the suitability of the show, how to apply, availability of grants and generally support your METS experience.
