SYUK Tour of Excellence

The Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence, supported by UK Trade and Investment is an excellent opportunity for Superyacht UK companies to showcase their products and services to an invited group of international superyacht delegates, including project managers, designers, naval architects, owners representatives, yards, brokers and captains. In March 2009 22 delegates met with 72 British companies in a series of tours, showcases and networking dinners.
Now in its 7th year, the Superyacht UK Tour of Excellence has gained an international reputation as a professional, highly valuable event which attracts top quality international delegates from all sectors of the industry keen to learn about the UK superyacht sector.
Philip Demler of Jens Cornelsen Gmbh said on last years tour: “I really enjoyed the Tour of Excellence. The visits to the shipyards, designers and various other companies were very informative and in addition to the presentation of information and a good look at their facilities I have made several valuable contacts.
“The time period of four days ensured a wide spectrum of content, and also provided the chance to meet the other delegates allowing for a lot of interesting and in-depth discussions. The organisation worked like clockwork and ensured that the time was used very efficiently. For me, the experience and the contacts made were well worth the time invested”
92% of last years attendees said the event was great value for money and 77% had follow up contact with the delegates
