Monaco Yacht Show
The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) brings together professionals from the international luxury yachting sector; ship-builders and designers, equipment suppliers, brokers and service providers.
The MYS is renowned throughout the sector for being the show that must not be missed in the luxury yachting sector because it is the only yacht show exclusively devoted to Superyachts of at least 25 meters in length.
At the 2009 event 19 companies exhibited in the newly designed Superyacht UK pavilion, located in the Darse Sud tent. On Thursday 24th September the British contingent brought the whole show to a dramatic standstill when the Royal Air Force Red Arrows display team blasted across the harbour.
Superyacht UK along with sponsors organised the display to showcase British Excellence in the superyacht sector. A champagne reception was arranged on the outer breakwater where invited VIP’s had an unrivalled view of the Red Arrows at their best.
A “Meet the Pilot’s” party followed where Superyacht professionals, captains and crew were invited to meet the whole display team and network with the sponsors and Superyacht UK members alike.
Positive comments were received both about the Red Arrows display and also the new look Superyacht UK pavilion.
