Blue Ensign

THE TUVALU YACHT REGISTRY is the yacht division of the Tuvalu Ship Registry started in 1982 . The registry is Tokyo White List,  Paris Grey List, and full members of IMO.

BLUE ENSIGN of Fareham, Hampshire have 25 years’ experience of registering  yachts and are the administrators of the entire yacht section, as authorized Recognised Organisation (R.O.) and Yacht Technical Department for the flag state.

Registration is open to any person or corporation, for commercial and private yachts of any size. Blue Ensign are authorized to provide all survey services, including MLC, ISM, ISPS, and to issue statutory certificates.

This means a “one stop shop” for  busy owners and Captains. Prices are very competitive and published on the website. A new “yacht friendly” safety code has been introduced for 2020 which takes into account the many variables found with yachts and how they are operated. Surveys are undertaken by  people that understand yachts.  A Tuvalu company or agent is not required, and all certificates and surveys are arranged through the UK office, with free friendly advice and an out of hours service.
