Heirlooms are delighted to be exhibiting for the 15th year at the Monaco Yacht Show, in the Parvis Piscine PQ58. As an exclusive brand, not available at retail, this is an exciting opportunity for the team at Heirlooms to demonstratethe skills and expertise the skills and expertise that set us apart from other linen companies.
This year’s inspiration has come from the sensational Jardin Exotique du Monaco from which we have createda botanical themed range of linens as our main bed linen display. Bringing the-outside-in creates a relaxingenvironment in which to unwind from the day’s activities. The use of printed fabrics for an expanse of leavesalong with bespoke “botanical” embroidery designs compliment a range of natural fabrics, which include cottonand pure linen.
With yachting being such a wonderful family occasion, we like to excite and involve the younger guests. Lastyear’s Safari range was a huge success featuring a Hippopotamus, a Lion and a Giraffe and this year’s rangeof linens and towels will be no exception. In keeping with the botanical theme, we created our fun “Cactus”characters featuring Pedro and Valentina which will be sure to generate the same enthusiasm.
We are also very honoured to be chosen to collaborate with the renowned porcelain painter Christiane von Trappin creating a selection of bespoke linens to complement her range of hand painted porcelain.
Christiane lives with her husband Count Gaudens Von Trapp, a descendant of the Austrian aristocratic family, in theimpressive 12th century castle Friedberg Atelier, nestled in the heart of the Alps on what is called “Peace Mountain”.Of course the name ‘von Trapp’ is instantly recognised by many having being immortalised in one of the best lovedmusicals of all time, “The Sound of Music”. With a long standing relationship with the renowned Germanyporcelain company Reichenbach, a range of Christiane’s porcelains will be displayed in our table linen section.
