International to launch new antifouling range at METSTRADE
Visitors to the upcoming METSTRADE 2017 event in the Netherlands will be first to see a new range of innovative antifouling products launched by AkzoNobel’s International brand.
The event will stage the official launch of the latest additions to the company’s extensive range of high-performance yacht coatings.
As well as streamlining the range, a numerical classification system has also been introduced to make it even easier to find the right product – the higher the number, the higher the performance.
“We’re excited to showcase our new range of products to customers at METSTRADE 2017,” explains Tom Rose, Product Manager. “They protect against all types of fouling, deliver more vibrant colors and are compatible with a wide range of substrates and antifoulings that are already available on the market.”
He added that the new range is the result of extensive research and development, based on customer feedback. It consists of 8 new products, the stand-out being Micron 350 – a premium antifouling with self-polishing co-polymer technology, suitable for all conditions and representing International’s best ever consumer antifouling.
The official launch event will take place on November 14 at 15.15 CET at AkzoNobel’s International stand (no. 07. 125). The company will also be hosting a discussion panel with representatives who have been working closely on the new range. This will be followed by a press conference with an interactive Q&A session.
