Wilks to debut Dek-King Superyacht at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show

Superyacht UK administrator Member news Wilks Mfg Co

Following the continued demand for high-quality teak substitutes and custom designs from the superyacht market, Dek-King Superyacht will be debuted at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show on stand QS111 by Chris Berry, Joint Managing Director of Wilks.

The Monaco Yacht Show prides itself on representing the pinnacle of luxury, showcasing the most reputable superyacht designers, builders and suppliers in the world. Running from the 26 – 29 September, the show is set in the iconic Port Hercules, Monaco.

Using premium Dek-King 2G synthetic teak, Dek-King Superyacht offers a bespoke decking service exclusive to the superyacht market. Creating luxury decks for larger vessels and tenders, designed to be as unique as the crafts they are fitted to. The team cater to the global market, with a specialist European hub based in the Netherlands – home to some of the most prestigious superyacht builders.

Offering complete design flexibility, bespoke traditional and modern designs are created on an individual basis, cut, fitted and finished by hand. Clients can compliment their craft with a choice of custom plank and caulking colours, precision cut CNC names, steel logos or a mood lighting system exclusive to Dek-King Superyacht.

Helipads can also become a true design feature through an exclusive synthetic teak helipad surface. The approved surface passed the UK CAA CAP 437 fixed platform test for helipad’s earlier this month. Featuring the same high-quality lifelike graining as Dek-King, the surface seamlessly blends to compliment any chosen design.

Chris Berry will be joined by Ramses Ren a Director from their European hub for the duration of the show, to meet clients and offer design inspiration.

Chris Berry says “Dek-King Superyacht is a natural addition to the Wilks portfolio. We have been active within the superyacht market for several years and have seen a growing demand for bespoke decking designs.

With synthetic teak being widely used throughout the industry, Dek-King Superyacht delivers a truly dedicated service for individuals looking for complete customisation”.

To find out more about Dek-King Superyacht visit stand QS111 from the 26 – 29 September at the Monaco Yacht show.
