Lateral Naval Architects Becomes Member of Superyacht UK
Lateral Naval Architects Ltd are pleased to announce membership of Superyacht UK, the focal point trade association for superyacht activity in the UK.
Launched in June this year Lateral is a strategic partnership between Southampton based BMT and Dutch based superyacht builder Oceanco. Lateral acts as an independent company offering dedicated superyacht naval architecture and engineering services to a broad international client base.
Managing Director James Roy said, “Our membership of Superyacht UK is a continuation from our time working under the BMT brand. As BMT we joined the association in 2008 and have always found Superyacht UK an excellent platform to engage and collaborate with a broad spectrum of industry stakeholders. For example, our involvement in the work of the technical committee has allowed us to stay at the forefront of new regulatory developments and allow us to offer key insights to our clients. Continuing our membership under the Lateral brand is a natural choice.”

The 55-strong team at Lateral will continue their active engagement with Superyacht UK activities with focus on promoting the broad and deep capability of the UK Superyacht sector.
