Berthon Spain launched and already busy

Berthon International and Palma-based Sentinel Yachting joined forces in September 2018 to create Berthon Spain where MD Andrew Fairbrass has established a team of passionate and enthusiastic professionals who have acquired an excellent reputation for their knowledge, skill, expertise and pragmatism. This level of excellence has not gone unnoticed by the owners and captains of Mediterranean superyachts.

Berthon Spain have already carried out a number of projects on the Oyster 125 Twilight, a phenomenal yacht which is prominent in the superyacht charter circuit. One of the many tasks was to strip down and service all of the captive winches, some of which are around 500kg. The Berthon team have also carried out numerous fabrication works as well as a complete service of the jet tender and a service and upgrade of the anchor windlasses and rollers.

Southern Wind 30m Blues used Berthon Spain to replace both of her Onan 19Kw generators which was carried out on time and under budget with the old engines removed briskly in just two-and-a-half hours.  Also on the list was the design and fabrication of a new metal pulpit, refurbishment of the tender and replacement cutlass bearings. Blues continues to benefit regularly from our gardiennage service and further works are planned on her in 2019.

J-Class Rainbow requested a new sheave for a load sensing pin for their vang.  This was sourced and delivered less than 24 hours later.
