Princess 35M docking at Trafalgar Shipyard
The Princess 35M headed to Trafalgar Shipyard, Portsmouth recently to undergo her routine annual maintenance.
Chris Hems, Shipyard manager said,
“We have had many super yachts at Trafalgar Shipyard, and we pride ourselves on offering a great, independent yard for owners. We are known for our flexibility and speed.”
“As soon as we got the Princess 35M approved docking drawing, we quickly converted it to suit the Rolls Royce Syncrolift system with plenty of time to spare and Captain John Kennedy motored her in expertly under clear sunny skies.”
The shipyard is unusual in that if offers complete flexibility for owners and refit teams.
“We work very closely with owners and teams. In this case, Princess Yachts and Thompson Westwood White Yachts were our partners. Because we are independent we can really fit around the needs of the people looking after the boats.”
“In this docking The Princess 35M was positioned at 2pm and safely lifted by 3pm, showing the speed of the Syncrolift system. She was then moved onto the hard-standing working area and ready to work with full shore power and safe access within 90 minutes.”
“With a two week maintenance period, the Princess 35M set sail at the end of June. Hopefully, we’ll see more Princess yachts in at Trafalgar Shipyard, maintaining our reputation as a flexible and friendly yard.”
