Superyacht UK at Monaco
For the last 17 years, Superyacht UK (SYUK) has organised the UK Pavilion at The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) which took place last week (Wednesday 25 to Saturday 28 September).
During the show, the SYUK committee and members supported and hosted various industry events including the Superyacht Tenders and Toys Reception.
Lesley Robinson, British Marine, CEO opened the annual SYUK Networking Reception in partnership with Department for International Trade which provided a fantastic platform for over 200 industry professionals to meet and discuss business.
The UK superyacht sector continues to thrive as highlighted in the recent publication of the superyacht statistics, enjoying its seventh consecutive year of growth, boasting a revenue of £660 million and supporting over 5,000 jobs in the UK alone.
The UK remains the third largest builder of superyachts in the world and our latest figures show that British built continues to remain in high demand across the globe. This was evident within the Superyacht UK Pavilion, where 23 British companies exhibited this year.
