Call for Young Designers

Superyacht UK is a unique membership association, with over 260 members. Its mission is to represent the interests of the UK Superyacht industry both at home and internationally. As part of British Marine, Superyacht UK champions UK innovation, excellence and heritage. The association highlights the diversity of the UK industry from leading naval architects to award-winning manufacturers.

To the ensure the industry is supporting and recognising the next generation, Superyacht UK hosts its annual Young Designer Competition which this year will run from 12-14 May 2020 at the iconic Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour, London, alongside the Superyacht Design Forum. The event and venue provide an unbelievable platform for students to showcase their skills and network with potential future employers from some of the UK’s top superyacht design houses.

The event is now in its sixth year and plays a vital role in nurturing the young designers of the future. We will welcome ten third year promising design talents, handpicked from across the UK, to compete for the iconic title of Superyacht UK Young Designer.
