Ribeye awarded Queen’s Award for Enterprise
Her Majesty The Queen has approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation that Ribeye Boats & Tenders should receive a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category 2021. The company won the award in recognition of its excellence in international trade and exponential growth over the last three years.
James Burroughs, Managing Director, says: “We are immensely proud to be recognised for the Queen’s Award. Our business has grown as a result of the team’s sheer hard work and determination to ensure we manufacture boats and tenders that are world-class. We have grown from a small family business to a world-renowned boat builder, and I couldn’t be more excited for the future. Thank you to our amazing clients past and present for their support over the years allowing us to be considered for such an honourable accolade.”
Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the most prestigious business award in the country. The presentation of the award will be made by Her Majesty the Queen’s Lord-Lieutenant for Devon, at Ribeye’s headquarters in Dartmouth. The team are hopeful that a reception at Buckingham Palace, held by Her Majesty The Queen and other senior members of the Royal Household will still go ahead as planned later in the year.
