Join Burgess at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2019

The world’s largest in-water boat show in the world is making a return to Fort Lauderdale, Florida this autumn, marking the 60th anniversary of the event. 

Running from October 30 until November 3, the show is held along almost a full mile of the Intracoastal Waterway and six miles of floating docks. With more than 1,500 boats on display, it’s an essential event in the yachting calendar. Around 85,000 visitors will attend, ferried around the show by water taxis, tenders and shuttle buses. 

FLIBS exhibits superyachts and yachts of all sizes for both brokerage and charter, as well as tenders, sports fishers, cars, luxury goods and marine accessories. The show was founded in 1959 by Floridian manufacturers and dealers looking for the best way to sell and exhibit yachts, and the first show featured just 13 boats. 

Burgess will once again have a huge presence, with stands at Bahia Mar and the new Superyacht Village and we are excited to announce the first yachts confirmed in our display fleet.

Miss Moneypenny V

Hull number seven of the iconic Mangusta 165 series, MISS MONEYPENNY V features Italian style throughout, dynamic exterior design and a simple modern interior, with a beautiful bleached-teak wood floors and limed oak panelling throughout. Powered by triple MTU 4000 engines, she cruises comfortably in excess of 27kn. Luxurious facilities include a gym and media room amidships and her modest draft allows her to explore the reefs, lagoons and shallows that are normally off-limits to many large yachts.

Chasseur

This award-winning Christensen motor yacht was delivered in 2016 to critical acclaim, receiving the prestigious Judges’ Special Award for Achievement at the World Superyacht Awards 2017. The judges deemed CHASSEUR worthy on account of her exceptional quality, sleek lines, and vibrant tri-deck interior. At delivery, CHASSEUR joined the Burgess fleet of charter yachts and has proven herself an extremely popular addition. She’s the latest addition to the Burgess sales fleet and inspection of this remarkable yacht is highly recommended.

Vantage

A proven member of the popular PJ 150 Sports Series, VANTAGE is powerful and sleek, with twin 3,650hp MTU engines able to reach up to 25kn and with a range of 1,500nm. VANTAGE has travelled the world extensively and thanks to her 1.8m (5.7ft) draft is as impressive and fast in the Bahamas as she is in Mediterranean waters. A fantastic amount of outside space means she’s ideal for entertaining, with a particularly impressive jacuzzi and fully equipped bar. Easily adaptable cabins make VANTAGE desirably flexible in terms of guest arrangement, and zero-speed stabilisers ensure comfort at anchor.

Horizons II

HORIZONS II features a shallow draft and a high cruising speed making her perfect for exploring the US East Coast and Bahamas. The main deck owner’s suite has an office and the forward bathroom has a skylight to deliver natural light. Three well-appointed guest cabins, including a VIP cabin are on the lower deck. The sky lounge has a wet bar and multiple seating areas that all have stunning 270-degree views and the large sun deck is a standout feature of the yacht with a jacuzzi and forward-facing seating arrangement. The current owner has spared no expense in maintaining her to a high standard.

Muchos Mas

MUCHOS MAS offers her new owner a feature-packed and recently delivered yacht with versatile accommodation, making her very well suited to private family yachting or, as currently, a compelling commercial prospect as a sought-after charter yacht. Stand-out features include a spectacular sun deck with a bar, BBQ, day head, large sun pad forward, two water vapour misting systems for hot days, and a corner jacuzzi forward with 54 jets, waterfall and a swim-up bar. Her full-beam owner’s suite has a two-person Vichy shower with six heads and a skylight below the foredeck jacuzzi.
